Hi, my name is Cherie Miracle.

I am an army spouse, mom to two amazing adult kids, lover of coffee, music, and photography.

My journey with photography started when I was about 20, during a mission trip to Costa Rica. I had a horrible old camera (one with flat disk film, no less!) but I remember starting to see things differently. I would start to frame things that I'd see in my head, even if I didn't have my camera at the ready.

Even after returning home, meeting the man of my dreams in my parent's coffee shop in Kentucky, marrying that amazing man, and starting our family, it was still years before I realized my true passion. Photography. I started off with a beginners Canon and mostly took photos of natures, animals, landscapes, and my kids.

It wasn't until a couple years later, after the army moved us from Alaska to Colorado, that my passion for portrait photography took off. My mind's eye started to crave capturing the little moments in life. The adoration between husband and wife. The sneaky grin of a toddler. The long eyelashes of a sleeping baby. THOSE were the moments I was meant to immortalize.
